Happy Easter!

Here are the boys with the Easter Bunny! You can see that we quickly went to visit the bunny after their last basketball game (they are proudly wearing their neon team shirts and basketball medal around their necks). We enjoyed an egg hunt at Nana's on Saturday and a great church service on Sunday. More important than the Easter bunny, Easter eggs and baskets, we celebrated the true meaning of Easter. This year it was precious that Kaleb could tell the story. It went like this...
Mommy-"Kaleb tell us about Easter."
Kaleb-"Guess what, Jesus died on the cross."
Mommy-"Is Jesus still dead?"
Kaleb-"NO! The rock rolled away and they saw an angel."
Mommy-"What did the angel say?"
Kaleb- "Don't be afraid, Jesus is ALIVE."

We hadn't told Kaleb the Easter story yet this year and then he surprised us by telling it to us. He had heard Nana tell it at preschool a few times (I'm sure glad he listens at school). It was so sweet that he felt it was important to tell us about it...so sweet that we wanted to share it with YOU! Happy Easter to everyone-we sure hope you got the chance to rejoice in the true meaning of Easter like we did!
