Last night Konner prayed for the Easter Bunny to bring him a cap gun. He was a little disappointed when his prayer was not answered when he woke up this morning. He reminded me that last year he prayed for a light saber and the Easter Bunny brought one (I couldn't believe he remembered that). This conversation lead us into the TRUE meaning of Easter. I reminded them that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Before I could finish, Kaleb jumped in and said "but Jesus isn't dead...the angel said he is alive." I said "you are right Kaleb, and that is what Easter is all about...JESUS IS ALIVE!!"

Happy Easter to all of you. I too, relished in what my Savior did for me this time of the year. I'm not sure it was this exact day. . .I think we should celebrate all around this time. I cleaned my roses on Saturday. . .a thorn hit me in the face and I thought. . .How could Christ have a "crown" of thorns on his head. With my thorn hitting my face, I realized another time how much pain he went through!!
