No More Training Wheels for Kaleb!

What an appropriate shirt for the special occasion....

Konner learned to ride his bike without training wheels 2 weeks after he turned FOUR! Teaching Kaleb to ride without training wheels was much more challenging...he is almost 5 1/2! If I remember right I was in 1st grade when I learned...but times have changed and kids are learning earlier. So we did what all good parents would do...we took his Nintendo DS away from him until he learned to ride his bike without training wheels. At first he wasn't too upset about it, but when we said he couldn't watch Konner play his DS either, all of the sudden he cared! Kevin made a fancy bar on the back of his bike to hold on to (so he didn't break his back) and after a few tries at it...HE GOT IT! He was so proud and we are so proud of him! He is just the kind of kid that needs to be pushed a bit and then once he figures it out, he's good! I tell you our boys couldn't be MORE different...and this was just another reminder of that! Way to go Kaleb (and Daddy)!!!
